Redvale Reservoir is a small reservoir located near Redvale which serves to smooth out deliveries in the

lower end of the distribution system.

The Farmers' Water Development Company stores diverted flows in Gurley Reservoir until storage reaches
approximately 6,900 acre-feet. At that time, inflows up to the capacity of the outlet works and supply ditch are
passed directly into the supply section of the Ditch and from there to the South Lateral. Inflows in excess of the
outlet capacity are stored up to the capacity of the reservoir. Stockholders must take their share of the direct flow
diversion or lose it, but the stored water is allocated to stockholders in proportion to their total shares and is
delivered on call,

The Lone Cone system, which is owned and operated by the Lone Cone Ditch and Reservoir Company, consists

essentially of the Cone Intake Ditch, Lone Cone Reservoir and Cone distribution canals. The Cone Intake Ditch

diverts water from Naturita Creek and Brewster Creek on the slopes of Lone Cone Mountain and conveys the

diversions to Lone Cone Reservoir where they are regulated and stored, Cone Ditch and Hill and Tracey Lateral

convey and distribute the irrigation water to the Company's service area in the vicinity of NOIwood,

The Lone Cone Ditch & Reservoir Company fills Lone Cone Reservoir with flows diverted during the spring

runoff. After the reservoir is full, the diverted flows spill into the distribution ditches set to proportion the entire

flow to all stockholders. As the inflows decrease, releases from the reservoir are made until all of the stored water

is used.

The main components of the Lilylands system, which is owned and operated by the Lilylands Canal and Reservoir
Company, consist of Lilylands Intake Canal, Lilylands Reservoir and the Lilylands distribution canals. The
Lilylands Intake Canal diverts water from West Naturita Creek into Lilylands Reservoir where it is regulated and
stored. The Lilylands Canal, North Lateral, and South Lateral distribute the irrigation supplies to lands in the
Dry Creek Basin and East Lilylands area.

The Lilylands Canal and Reservoir Company fills Lilylands Reservoir with diverted flows during the spring runoff.
After the reservoir is full, the inflows and flows intercepted downstream of the reservoir are conveyed through the
Lilylands Canal and laterals and delivered to stockholders in proportion to the number of shares owned. As the
inflows decrease, releases from the reservoir are made until all of the stored water is used,

IV-2
