EXPERIENCE

1979 to Present

Chief hydrologist, Western Engineers, Inc.; responsible for water rights
analysis, ground water resource appraisal, reservoir sizing and yield studies,
water studies for mining reclamation, ground water monitoring system design,
consumptive-use studies, field flow measurements and channel design, water right
applications and augmentation plans for water right changes, reservoir operation
studies, design flood and dam-failure simulation studies, and federal permit
applications for rights-of-way and hydropower licensing.

1976 to 1979

Graduate assistant/research fellow, College of Mines, University of Idaho;
conducted research on effects of abandoned mill tailing piles on water quality
in the Coeur d' Alene Mining District, Idaho, including design and installation
of water quality monitoring network, ground and surface water sampling,
topographic mapping and data analysis; authored specific reclamation plans for
all abandoned tailing piles in the District under a contract with the Idaho
Department of Health, funded by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency.

1974 to 1976

Draftsman/engineering technician, Colorado River Water Conservation District;
prepared maps for various water resource development proj ects and water right
applications; assisted engineers in water rights analysis and collected water
quality samples.
