<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br />STANDARD FORMA T <br />(STATE FORM 6-AC-02-A) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT E <br /> <br />YEAR 2000 COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />The State requires that all software, or supplies used in the Work be Year 2000 compliant. The <br />Consultant agrees to require and incorporate Year 2000 compliance in the Contract Documents. <br />"Year 2000 compliant" means fault-free performance in the processing of date and date-related data <br />(including, but not limited to calculating, comparing, and sequencing) by all software products, <br />firmware. and supplies, individually and in combination as a system. when used in accordance with <br />the product documentation provided by the contractor. Fault-free performance means: <br /> <br />. no invalid or incorrect results or abnormal termination prior to, during and after January 1, <br />2000 as a result of date or date-related data or data processing that represents or <br />references different centuries or more than one century; and <br />· proper calculation and handling of leap years; and <br />· except for normal user interfaces (e.g. four digit date entry) identified in the contractor's <br />or vendor's documentation, such date data processing shall be transparent to the user. <br /> <br />REV. 12/2001 <br /> <br />J <br />
