<br />EAGLE REPORT <br />CHAPTER FOUR <br />WATER <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />Prior to the construction of the present water treatment facility, <br /> <br />no attempts had been made to keep records on the water consumption in the <br /> <br />town of Eagle. However, the design of the present water treatment facility <br /> <br />called 'tor a water meter to be installed with a totalizer, which serves to <br /> <br />record the flow of water that the plant produces. The records from 1972 to <br /> <br />1973 have been discarded, as t~e town has only experienced one full year of <br /> <br />water consumption while the water consumers have been metered. In 1974 a <br /> <br />total of 73,764,300 gallons of water was treated by the water treatment <br /> <br />facility; and, in 1975 a total of 81,118,500 gallons was treated. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Existing Records <br /> <br />All pertinent records kept by the water superintendent with regard to <br /> <br />plant production have been rev!ewed in detail during the preparation of this <br /> <br />report. In order to review the most recent water consumption for a single <br /> <br />twelve month period, we have c~osen the period between January I, 1975 and <br /> <br />December 31, 1975. Table IV s~ows the plant production from the records <br /> <br />of the water superintendent during the year of 1975. It also indicates the <br /> <br />percent of the total annual consumption occuring in each month.
