The company gen- <br />eral Iy has enough water to del iver Z5 cfs of water. The irrigated <br />tracts of land vary In size from 1/2 to 16~ acres. <br /> <br />The company has always strived to serve Its water users by the most <br /> <br />efficient means available to them. They have accompl ished this by <br /> <br />concrete I inlng or piping smal I sections each year within their budget. <br /> <br />The objectives of the Ditch Company are to work with the existing sol I <br />and water resources of the community. These are. <br />1. Save water. Upgrade their del Ivery system. <br />a. Replace plpel ines as soon as possible where broken or <br />where the seepage losseS are excessive. <br />b. Replace the delivery boxes that are In poor condition or <br />repair others that are beginning to deteriorate. <br />2. Better water management <br />a. Use proper Irrigation water management practices to <br />supply water to satisfy the consumptive use of the crops. <br />b. Stabl I Ize the agriculture economy of the community by <br />providing a more dependable supply of irrigation water <br />to the users. <br />Regular maintenance on the ditch and pipeline system is already part of <br />the corporation's pol icy.
