WHEREAS, authority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made
available and a sufficient' unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in Fund Number 4008.

WHEREAS, required approval, clearance and coordination has been accomplished from and with appropriate
ag_encies; and, .

WHEREAS, 'J pursuant to th_e -provisions of. 37-60-119, Colorado
Revised Statutes '1973, as amended, the colorado Water Conservation'
Board is authorized to construct certain water' projects for the
benefit of the people of the 'state of ColoradO; and

WHEnEAS, the Town of Grand Valley has made application to the
Colorado Water Cons~rvation Board for tpe construction- of a water
proje~t for the purpose of improving its municipal water supply; and'

WHEREAS, the Contractor is a professional engineering firm within'
the State of Colorado and has previously done considerable water-.
related work for the' Town of Gr?nd Valley and various other munici-'
palities in Colorado;

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that

directed to 'the problem of improving the municipal water of the Town
of Grand Valley in accordance with a proposal for project feasibility'
report prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Colorado water
conservation Board, received June 3, ~976, which proposal 'is attached
hereto as Appendix A and made a part -~f thi's contr act.
