<br />PART VI <br /> <br />PROJECT LANDS <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />A detailed land classification covering 60,400 acres was <br />completed in April 1959 by the Bureau of Reclamation. Exhibit 5, a map of the project' area, shows the location of <br />the irrigable land by classes. <br /> <br />PHYSIOGRAPHY AND TOPOGRAPHY <br /> <br />The project lands occupy three physiographic positions con- <br />sisting of river bottomlands, river terraces, and uplands.
