CHAPTER I: GENERAL INFORMATION

A. PROJECT MAP

The Windsor Reservoir and Canal Company owns several water storage reservoirs and over 25 miles of
raw water supply ditches located in Larimer and Weld Counties in Colorado. The purpose and use of these
structures is to store and supply irrigation water for agricultural purposes.

The Company has decided to investigate the condition of several of these structures and canals to determine
if rehabilitation or repair is necessary. The structures and ditches investigated and described in the
remainder of this report are as follows.

I. Poudre Valley Canal, two sections totaling approximately 1-112 miles of supply ditch. The
first section being a 2600-foot section near Ted's Place, and the second being a 6000-foot
section near the Holnam Cement Plant.

2. Douglas Reservoir Inlet Control Structure.

3. Reservoir No.8 Outlet Conduit.

4. No.8 Annex Outlet Conduit.
