The idealized demands are included
from Section 4.2 of this report in Attachment D. Consumptive
use requirements for selected crops are shown in Attachment E.

Municipal and industrial water requirements are a
relatively small but important part of the total water
requirements. The maximum rate of flow delegated to meet these
requirements is anticipated to be approximately 15 cfs, with
typical flows significantly less. Total M and I consumption
for the Town of Norwood and Wrights Mesa Rural Water District
averaged 56.7 million gallons per year based on data supplied
by the FWDC for 1984, 1985 and 1986.

Surface Water Supply

The Gurley Reservoir system is currently supplied
primarily by runoff collected by and diverted through the
collection ditch system shown on Figure 2. Runoff from within
the natural drainage area for Gurley Canyon provides a lesser
portion of the overall water supply. A discussion of available
stream gauge records for the area and a tabulation of average
annual runoff volumes for drainages feeding the Gurley
collection system can be found in Section 4.3 of the Lone Cone
Report. This section is included in Attachment D.

Groundwater Resources

Groundwater is not utilized by Gurley Reservoir as a
source of inflow with the exception of relatively minor spring
flows which surface within the immediate catchment area. The
groundwater resource is therefore not considered in this
report.
