The work included: <br /> <br />1. Constructing and locating ground targets for the aerial <br />photographic mapping; <br /> <br />2. Locating existing features including sinkholes, springs, <br />flow monitoring weirs and piezometers; and <br /> <br />3. Locating and dimensioning the existing outlet works <br />tunne 1. <br /> <br />The survey data and sketches are included in Appendix F of this <br />report. The locations of the sinkholes, springs, weirs and <br />piezometers are shown on Figure 4. <br /> <br />3.3 <br /> <br />Site Inspection Program <br /> <br />General inspections of the dam and adjacent downstream and <br />upstream foundation areas were conducted on an irregular but <br />frequent basis during the field investigation and emergency repair <br />programs. Deta il ed i nterna 1 i nspecti ons of the out1 et works <br />structures were conducted by SRK representatives during completion <br />of the April 19B7 emergency repa i r program and duri ng speci ally <br />scheduled inspection trips on March g, 1987 and June 11, 19B7. The <br />observations made on March g, 1987 are included in the March 1987 <br />SRK report titled "Emergency Repair Program Design Report, Gurley <br />Reservoir". The observations made during the emergency repair <br />program are included in the May 1987 SRK as-built report. The <br />observati ons made duri ng the June 11, 1987 tri pare i ncl uded in <br />Appendix H of this report. <br /> <br />-5- <br />
