<br />. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURE B <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />PLAN OF STUDY <br />SAN MIGUEL PROJECT WATER SUPPLY STUDY <br />November 15, 1989 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />The following plan of study outlines additional work to be conducted by Boyle Engineering <br />Corporation (Boyle) for the San Miguel Water Supply Study, This work is being performed to <br />provide supplementary analyses and information necessary to make decisions regarding <br />potential improvements to the operations of the participating ditch companies, <br /> <br />Boyle will perform field evaluations, conduct analyses, and prepare reports, The Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board (CWCB) is responsible for overall study management and <br />coordination, The participation and assistance of the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) and <br />Cooperative Extension Service (Extension) in data collection and other technical and <br />coordination roles will be formally solicited as outlined herein, <br /> <br />The plan of study for the Norwood-Redvale Service Area is organized as follows: <br /> <br />Demand Forecasting Plan <br />Demand-Based Operating Plan <br />Water Marketing Mechanism <br />Monitoring Operations <br />Meetings and Workshops <br />Summary and Supplemental Reports <br /> <br />The demand,based operating plans to be developed as part of this work effort are in19nded to .J <br />serve as guidelines for operations, The monthly time step to be used in performing operational <br />simulations will not be sufficiently specific to direct day to day decisions; nor will the ditch <br />companies be bound to follow any suggestions made regarding operations of their systems. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURE B <br />
