15.0 Conclusions
1. The CMDRC is a Colorado corporation and has the ability to enter into a contract
with the CWCB for the purpose of obtaining a Construction Fund Loan.
2. Access to the project is adequate for construction of the rehabilitation project.
3. The project would provide for continued beneficial use of the Cedaz Mesa Dam.
4. The total estimated cost of the project is $131,962, which will be financed by a
$100,000 CWCB loan, two private loans, a$6,000 grant from the Colorado River
Conservation Dish a$4,850 CWCB grant, and additional funds as necessary from
the CMDRC.
5. The Cedar Mesa Ditch and Reservoir Co. is eligible for a CWCB Small Project Loan
because the loan amount is $1OQ000 or less and because the project is necessary to
avoid undue hardship on the borrower. Requiring the CMDRC to apply through the
standard CWCB loan process would delay the project for one year and jeopardize the
company's ability to deliver sufficient water to its shazeholders.
G\wDwork\1800sV835A\CeGarMeuFeasiOilityRepon.COC 8 Ju1y2001
