The benefits, <br />which would accrue from the proposed plan if implemented, in <br />terms of reduction of shortage of irrigation supplies in the <br />respective irrigation service areas have been spelled out in the <br />report. The adjustments of water rights and other tradeoffs <br />among the various water users should be accomplished by necessary <br />legal means and through the relevant administrative channels. <br /> <br />10. The evaluation of hydropower potential in the project was <br /> <br /> <br />not a part of this study. A tentative evaluation was made in the <br /> <br /> <br />operation study that should be considered of academic value only <br /> <br /> <br />at this stage; however, it may be considered in more detail in <br /> <br /> <br />the future. This study has shown that by passing all water <br /> <br /> <br />releases through assumed power plants at the dam and the dike, an <br /> <br /> <br />average amount of about 2.0 Gwh of energy could be produced <br /> <br /> <br />annually. <br />
