Part B - 5, Description of proposed project for Silver Springs Trout Farm, Inc.

In 1998 and 1999 Silver Springs Trout Farm, Inc. completely rebuilt its fish rearing
facility due to a positive fish health test for M. cerebralis (whirling disease). All dirt
ponds used for fish rearing were bulldozed and new concrete raceways were
constructed. Some waterline work was also done to secure the water from above
ground contamination,

Silver Springs Trout Farm, Inc. has tested disease free for all pathogens since 1998 and
been whirling disease negative by Colorado Division of Wildlife regulation since June
1999.

Silver Springs Trout Farm, Inc, would like to refinance its existing loan from private
sources with the money available from CWCB.

Silver Springs Trout Farm, Inc. would also like to finish up on work that was unable to
be completed due to financial constraints that would greatly help us remain disease
free in the future.

Our proposed construction remodel is to add predator controls around the concrete
raceways in the form of mesh coverings and to replace five to six hundred feet of
existing water collection line that has become clogged with roots.
