We completed ouc ceview of youc planS and specifications foc the slide
cepaic on Lone Cabin Resecvoic's downstceam face. Based on this ceview and
pcevious inspection cepocts. the appcoval of these plans will not cemove the
cestciction which ociginated due to an inadequate spillway. Until we appcove
a hydcology study. the cestciction will ~till be enfocced.

Howevec. in ocdec to appcove the pl~ns and specifications foc the slide.
the following items need addcessing:

1) A cost estimate and filing fee is cequiced.

2) Specifications must include:

a) pcovision that the plans and specifications may not be matecially
changed in any pacticulac except with the wcitten consent of the
State Engineec.

b) Pcovision foc developing AS-BUILT dcawings.

c) pcovision that constcuction cannot be consideced complete until
the State Engineec has appcoved the same in wciting.

3) A Geotechnical Repoct is cequiced on the boccow matecial. The cepoct
should follow the guidelines on page 25 of the "Design Review Manual."

4) The type of embankment matecial desccibed in Section 02219. page 6.
item 2.01.8 and C is vague. Clacify the descciption. which should be
detecmined in the Geotechnical Repoct.
