THE ORGANIZATION

1.1 The No~th Fo~k Wate~ Conse~v~ncy Dist~ict is the lead agency
fo~ this p~oject. The Owne~ of the p~oject is the Lone Cabin
Ditch and Re$e~voi~ Company. The Lone Cabin Ditch and Rese~voi~
Company is a Colo~ado Co~po~ation established by A~ticles of
Inco~po~ation dated 8-9-04, and filed with the office of the
Sec~eta~y of State of the State of Colorado on the 15 day of
Novembe~, 1905, and ~eco~ded in Book 108, Page 310, of the
~ecords the~~of.

1.2 The pu~poses and objects of the Co~po~ation we~e and a~e to
construct and maintain ~ese~voi~s and ditches in Delta County,
Colo~ado, to dive~t, t~anspo~t and sto~e wate~ f~om streams into
ditches, ~es~~voi~s and late~als fo~ the pu~pose of i~rigating
lands owned by stockholde~s of the company.

1.1 Initially, the Company acqui~ed owne~ship of the Interocean
Rese~voi~ and acqui~ed a cou~t dec~ee fo~ the ~eservoi~ sto~age
right and th~ ditches t~anspo~ting such wate~. The Company also
acqui~ed dec~ees fo~ su~face ~ight dive~sions and sto~age rights
fo~ the Lone Cabin Rese~voi~ which was const~ucted. Late~, the
Company enla~ged both its ~ights of dive~sion of su~face wate~s
and it's sto~age ~ights by cou~t dec~ees.

1.2 To inc~ease its ability to p~ovide i~~igation wate~ to its
stockholde~s, the Lone Cabin Ditch and Rese~voi~ Company joined
with the Minnesota Canal and Rese~voi~ Company and the Tu~ne~
Ditch Company in the 1950's to aCqui~e cou~t dec~ees fo~ wate~
sto~age in the Beaver Rese~voi~ which was then const~ucted.

1.3 On an annual basis, f~om its inception to date, the Lone
Cabin Ditch and Rese~voi~ Company has pe~fo~med the necessa~y
const~uction, repai~s and maintenance to c~eate the reservoi~s,
ditches and late~als necessa~y to dive~t its dec~eed surface
wate~ ~ights, store the same and deliver the wate~ to its
stockholde~s fo~ the i~~igating Of thei~ lands. A ditch ~ide~ is
cont~acted with each year to clean and keep the ditches open,
make necessa~y ~epai~s and const~uction, manage the dive~sions of
wate~ and, gene~ally, keep the Company app~ised of the conditions
of it's ~ese~voi~s, ditches and late~als.
