OF COLORADO, OCTOBER, 1980, <br />AS REQUIRED BY THE COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD FOR FINANCIAL <br />ASSISTANCL FROM WATER RESOURCES CONSTRUCTION FUND. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Water Conservation Board has been authorized <br />by the Colorado General AssemblY to submit and recommend projects <br />to the Colorado General AssemblY for approval and funding during <br />the 1981 session to aid in the construction of specific water re- <br />lated projects. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town <br />of Fruita: <br /> <br />1. That the recommendations of the Feasibility Study, Fruita <br />Water Supply Project be adopted as the water related construc- <br />tion goals of the Town of Fruita. <br /> <br />2. The construction cost to upgrade the Town's water distrubution <br />system, construct a one million gallon treated water storage <br />tank and the replacement of 3,000 linear feet of treated <br />water transmission main is estimated to be $1,600,000. <br /> <br />3. The contribution of the Town of Fruita to the construction <br />will be limited to repayment of obligations incurred in <br />construction advances. <br /> <br />4. The Town requests an advance of $800,000.00 from the Colorado <br />Water Conservation Boa~d for this project. <br /> <br />5. The Town will obtain $BOO,OOO.OO in loans and grants from <br />other sources including, but not limited to, the State of <br />Colorado Socio-Economic Impact Office, and the Farmers <br />Home Administration. <br /> <br />ii <br /> <br />--", <br />
