JanUary 24. 2001 <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />8:00 a,m, <br /> <br />,.. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the <br />Holiday Inn-Northglenn, 10 E, 120th Avenue, Northglenn, Colorado 80207, <br />commencing at 8:00 a,m, Wednesday, January 24.2001, and continuing on <br />Thursday, January 25,2001. Chairperson Lewis Entz called the meeting to order, <br />Nine voting members were present at the time of call to order so there was a <br />quorum (at least six required), Board members present on this date were Lewis <br />Entz, Harold Miskel, Patricia Wells, Don Schwindt, Eric Kuhn, Bob Burr, Keith <br />Catlin, Eric Wilkinson, David Smith, Greg Walcher, Attorney General Ken <br />Salazar (and during part of the meeting, Jennifer Gimbel and Felicity Hannay <br />representing the Attorney GeneraJ'~ office), State Engineer Hal Simpson, <br />Commissioner of Agriculture Don Ament and CWCB Director Rod Kuharich, <br /> <br />Note: While Board's consideration of agenda items doesn't always follow the sequence indicated <br />by the agenda numbers, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. <br /> <br />1a. Review and Approval of Agenda <br />Tape I, Start/Stop: 0001 _ 0081 <br />Action: A motion was made by David Smith to accept the revised agenda of January 22, <br />2001, with the additional change that 9(c)(2) ''Defenders of Wildlife v, Babbit" <br />would not be heard at this meeting, The motion was seconded by Patricia Wells <br />and approved unanimously (9-0), <br /> <br />1 A complete record of the meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes.
