. . Sp~cial Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Grand View Irr. Co. Jan. 10. 1987. The Board met at the home of the President, Mannie A. Colon Jr. at 8 p. m, Those present were Mannie A. Colon Jr., Nard Robinette and Edwin Hall. The meeting was called to order by the Fresident, who said the meeting was called for the purpose of preparing for the Annual Meeting of the Stockholders, which is tomorrow, January 11, 1987. Phase I of the rebuilding of the syphon has been com- pleted, accepted and approved. The Ditch Comp~~y received from USDA $105,207.37. Peables Hauling Co. of Colorado Springs, Colo., has been awarded the contract for Phase II of the rebuilding in the amount of $166,000.00. The outstanding accounts receivable for the piping of the North Extension still remains unsettled and was discussed. The incoming Board of Directors for 1987 needs to consid- er patching the main concrete ditch on the ~.lacKenzie property and continue to fight the willows. In addition,consider the feasibility of increasing the carrying capacity of the main canal discharging at the east end of the syphon by lowering the ditch bottom or place concrete side. boards easterly as far as necessary. A motion should be made to continue the ratification of the President's authority to sign all necessary documents for Phase II of the syphon project. Mr. Hall made a motion to reaffirm the authority of Nr. Colon to enter into Phase II of the contracting as per the Minutes of The Special Meeting held December 14, 1985.
