Box 17
Granby, CO 80446

Dear Mayor and Town Board:

We are pleased to submit this report concerning the evaluation of the water
supply, treatment, distribution and storage facilities. The basic purpose of
this study was to determine the various alternatives available to the Town
through which the quality of the finished water can be further improved and
maintained. In doing this, we also made an estimation of what the projected
future water needs may be for the Town and also took a brief look at the water
supply, distribution and storage facilities.

The material presented summarizes field investigations, cost analysis, design
calculations and other related studies and indicates the proposed facilities
found to be most economically feasible. It provides the Town officials with
the most reasonable plan for meeting their existing and future water require-
ments and a basis for the necessary financial arrangements to accomplish this
goal. Final details of the facilities will be determined in the preparation
of plans and specifications for construction. We will be pleased to make
available more detailed computations or statements covering any portion of the
report if the Town so requests.

In submitting this report, we wish to acknowledge the cooperation given to us
by various Town officials upon whom we have had occasion to call, in particular
Mr. Alan Carter and Mr. Harvey "Punch" Eldridge.

Finally, we wish to assure the Town of Granby that we will be pleased to
further our services in any way that the Town may desire and to assist in
any possible method in the development of the proposed improvement program.
Should the Town elect to file for federal or state aid at this time, we will
complete the preliminary applications for these monies as a part of the
preliminary agreement. However, due to the voluminous paper work generally
involved, a separate agreement will be necessary to cover the preparation of
all follow-up and supporting documents which may be requested.

Entineerint

Water laboratory

Utility Management

Planntnt
