P.E. <br />DitedOf. ewes <br />RE: Michigan River WCD <br />Initial Loan Approval <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Kaup, <br /> <br />Concerning your application for a loan from the Construction Fund, I am pleased to <br />inform you that the eweB Board has granted initial approval of your request in amount <br />of $97,500 for the construction project. The CWCB Board also approved a loan term of 20 <br />years at an interest rate of 4%, It is our understanding that these funds will be used to <br />construct an additional outlet on the Meadow Creek Dam. I have attached a copy of my <br />updated CWCB Board memo concerning the Michigan River Water Conservancy District, <br />Please refer to page 2 of that memo and to the section "Action Taken by the CWCB Board". <br /> <br />The Construction loan will be considered by the State General Assembly as part of <br />the 1994 Construction Fund Bill, with passage expected in June 1994.
