Design <br />The design for a portion of the toe drain is included in Appendix 0, page <br />0-24. Page 3 (page 0-25) of the plans should be disregarded, as it relates to <br />the southeast dam on which improvements have been completed. The quantities <br />shown on page 2 (0-24) indicate about 680 feet of toe drain are to be installed, <br />rather than the 4000 feet as described in the application for funding <br />assistance. The Ish Reservoir Company initially envisioned completing the pro- <br />ject in several phases. However, due to the pending restriction, aid from the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board is being requested to complete the installa- <br />tion in one phase. The toe drain will be installed according to the approved <br />design, with the extension of the limits of installation included in the <br />As-Built drawings. Competitive bids will be sought and a contract awarded to <br />the lowest qualified bidder. <br />The project includes installation of 6-inch and 8-inch diameter perforated <br />poly vinyl chloride (PVC) pipe surrounded by select gravel filter; outlets, and <br />weirs. <br /> <br />. _ ~2~- <br /> <br />"I <br />J~ <br />
