I. The parties hereto agree that subjecl lo.the availability of appropriations and in accordance with lheir respective authorities lhere shall be mainlained in cooperation a hydraulic study in the State of Colorado . hereinafter called the program. 2, The following amounts shall be contributed to cover all of lhe cost of the necessary field and office work directly related 10 tltis program, but excluding any general administrative or accounting work in the office of either party and excluding lhe coSl of publication by either party of the results of the program. (a) S 5,400.00 by lhe parly of the firsl part during the period July 1, 1981 10 September 30, 1981 . (b) S 5,400.00 July 1, 1981 by lhe party of lhe second parI during the period to September 30, 1981 consisting of $2,000 in funds and $3,400 evaluated services (c) Additional amounts by each party during the above period or succeeding periods as may be determined by mUlual agreement and set forth in an exchange of letters between the parties, ), Expenses incurred in the performance of tltis program may be paid by either party in conformity with the laws and regula lions "pectively governing each party, provided that so far as may be mutually agreeable all expenses shall be paid in the firsl instance by , party of the rust part with appropriate reimbursement thereafter by the parly of the second part. " The areas to be included in the program shall be determined by mutual agreement between the parlies hereto or their authorized cpresentatives, The methods employed in lhe field and office shall be those adopted by the party of lhe firsl parI 10 insure lhe required I'andards of accuracy subjecl to modification by mutual agreement. >. During the progress of the work all operations of either party pertaining to this program shall be open 10 the inspection of the otoer <lrty, and if the work is not being carried on in a mutually SlllisfaclOry manner, either party may lerminale tltis agreement upon 60 ~ys wriUen notice to the other party. . The original records resulting from this program shall be deposited ultimately in the office of the party of lhe firsl part and shall ccome part of the records of thaI office. Copies shall be furnished 10 the party of lhe second part upon request. :. The maps, records or reports resulting from tltis program shall be made avail.ble to the public as promptly as possible. The maps, ecords or reporls normally will be published by the party of the first part. However. the parly of lhe second part reserves lhe righl to 'ublish the results of litis program and, if already published by lhe party of the first part shall, upon requesl, be furnished by the parly f lhe firsl part, at cost, impressions suitable for purposes of reproduction similar to that ror which the original copy was prepared.
