CONTRACT -:- '''MEN,)" 01{ M';ENCY NUMHER ~4-04-00 CONTRACT ROUT'Ni ?:~t~R d(r!?l//If (-'",m ".,\C_02 THIS CONTRACT. made this 14th day of Mav 197..4:, by and between the State of Colomdo for the use and benefit of the Dep<lrtmenl of'1 Natural Resources, Colorado Water Conservation Board hereinafter referred to as the State, and '2 Wriqht-McLauqhlin Engineers 2420 Alcott street, Denver, Colorado 80211 hereinafter referred to as the contractor, WHEREAS, authority exists in the Law and Funds have been budgeted. appropriated and otherwise made availllMe and a sufficient ullencumbe,ed balance thereof remains available f01 payment in Fund Number 1001 , G/L Account Number 5195X, Contr:Jct Encumbrance Number ,1/ ~ WI ; and WHEREAS, required approval, .clearance and coordination has been accomplished fro11\ and with appropriate agencies; and WHEREAS,'3 pursuant to the provisions of 149-1-22, COlorado Revised statutes' 1963, as amended, the ColoradO Water Conservation Board is authorized to construct certain water projects for the benefit of the people of the state of Colorado; and WHEREAS, the community of Allenspark through the Allenspark.Water and $anitation Dist~ict has made application to the Board for the COn- struction of a water project for the purpose of supplying municipal and industrial water to the inhabitants of the areas served by the applicant; and WHEREAS, the Contractor is a prOfessional engineering firm within the state of Colorado, and has previously done considerable water- related work for the town of Allenspark: NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that I. '4 '1'he Contractor agrees to prepare a feasibility report directed to the prOblem of supplying additional municipal and industrial water to the area served by the Allenspark Water and Sanitation District, in accordance with a proposal for project feasibility report prepared by the Contractor and approved by the Colorado Water Conservation Board, dated May, 1974, which proposal is attached hereto as Exhibit A and-made a part of this contract. 2. Thirty (30) . copies of tne report called fOr in tnis contract shall be furnished to the State not l~ter than July 31, 1974, unless such time is extended by mutual agreement of the parties hereto. 3. As compensation for the services of the Contractor, the State agrees to pay to the Contractor the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,750) in the manner fOllOwing' a_ sixty percent (60%) of the total amount due in two (2) equal monthly ins~allments commencing on June 30, 1974. D.. The remaining forty percent (40%) within thirty (30) days following receipt and acceptance of the written repor~ specified in paragraph 2 of t~is contract.
