WdUa-il"_t.....,....-,,) <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That we, Grant Squier, <br /> <br />L. O. Marshall and Charles Rump of Mesa County, State of Colorado, <br /> <br /> <br />have associated ourselves together for the purpose of forming and <br /> <br /> <br />organizing a body corporate and politic, and in accordance with the <br /> <br /> <br />laws of the said State of Colorado, we do hereby make, execute and <br /> <br />acknowledge in duplicate this certificate in writing, which, when <br /> <br /> <br />filed, shall constitute the Articles of Incorporation of the with- <br /> <br />in named company. <br /> <br />ARTICLE I. <br /> <br />The Dame of said company shall be "The Redlands Irrigation <br /> <br />Company". <br /> <br />ARTICLE II. <br /> <br />The objects, purposes and powers for which seid company <br /> <br />shall be created are: To purchase, acquire, own and possess the <br /> <br />'rights of way, canels, ditches, pipe lines, laterals, water rights, <br /> <br />appropriations, priorities, decreed rights, power plants, substations, <br />transmission lines and other property of The Redlands Irrigation <br /> <br />and Power Company; to maintain, operate, manage and control the <br /> <br />same; to add to, extend and complete the system of works so <br /> <br />acquired; to furnish and distribute to the stockholders water for <br /> <br />irrigation and domestic purposes; to use power developed in its <br />said system for the above purposes and to sell any surplus of power <br /> <br />so developed from time to time; to borrow money; to mortgage, <br />pledge or hypothecate any of the property of the corporation for <br /> <br />-1- <br />
