Boundaries of the basin are <br /> <br /> <br />shown on Figure 7. The proposed Hay Gulch wells to supply the Morgan <br /> <br /> <br />County Quality Water District would be within the Lost Creek Designated <br /> <br /> <br />Ground Water Basin. No ground water management district has been formed <br /> <br /> <br />in this area. <br /> <br />Present g~ound-water quality <br /> <br />Total dissolved solids, hardness and nitrates as measured in two <br /> <br /> <br />water samples from Hay Gulch wells are presented in Figure 7. <br /> <br />A water sample taken from a stock well near the' center of the west <br /> <br /> <br />1/2 of Section 8, T3N, R61W, was analyzed by the Colorado Department of <br /> <br /> <br />Health in 1971.
