Quantit:ies and Cost Estimates The material quantities for all of the features of each of the nine different Beaver Creek dams were estimated. These were com- bined with estimated unit costs to produce estimates of the cost of storage at each site. The small RCC dam and the large earthen dam at the upper site appear to provide the least cost (5777 $/ac-ft) storage of those available in the Beaver Creek Basin. The lower site can provide storage at only a slight increase in cost (5928 $/ac-ft) while controlling a substantially larger portion of the basin. In all cases the cost of storage in the Beaver Creek basin is substantially larger than that available in other basins, see Table IV-I0. H. Yank Creek Dam and Reservoi:r. 1. General History Yank Creek Dam and Reservoir were included in the 1966 USBR feasibility report. (Ref. 22) In that report, the Yank Creek system was considered to be separate from the remainder of the study area. No water was exported to or from the system as part of the project.
