ESTIMATES OF COST

General.

I

The cost estimates in this section are based on price quotations for major

items such as tanks, pump units, and pipe and recent bid prices have been

used to arrive at the construction cost estimates. All cost estimates were

developed based on 1973 costs. For improvements recommended in later years

a 6% per year cost escalation figure was used. Following the itemized cost

estimates is a section summarizing the cost estimates and providing a recommended

timetable for accomplishment of the proposed improvements.
