<br />II <br />II <br />II <br />II <br />II <br />fl <br />II <br />II <br />II <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />] <br />I <br />I <br />.1 <br />J. <br />'I <br /> <br />Projected Costs for Alternate of Pumping All Water to Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />Because of the high maintenance costS on the existing raw water line and <br /> <br /> <br />the possibility of substantial capital ou1ays in the future the alternate <br /> <br /> <br />of constructing a new pump station near the site of the existing pump station <br /> <br /> <br />and pumping all raw water to the treatment plant will be analyzed. It is a <br /> <br /> <br />possibility that the capital outlay and power costs of a pumping facility <br /> <br /> <br />may be less costly than continuing to use the existing transmission line. <br /> <br />For purposes of an economic comparison it has been assumed that: <br /> <br />1. A new pump station would be constructed in the vicinity of the <br />existing pump station. <br /> <br />2. The diversion structure at the Hydraulic Ditch would be modified <br />for winter time operation. <br /> <br />3.
