<br />< <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />uj0 7{ - 19 & S <br /> <br />CON T R ACT <br /> <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />DEPART~ffiNT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board Fund 100l-Agency 34-04-00(5l95X) <br />Water Projects Construction Fund - $18,050 <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT made this 2nd day of May, 1974, by and between the <br />STATE OF COLORADO for the use and benefit of the DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCES, COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD, hereinafter called the <br />STATE, and ROCKY MOUNTAIN CONSULTANTS. INC., an engineering firm <br />incorporated under the laws of the State of Colorado, with principal <br />offices at Longmont, Colorado, hereinafter called the CONSULTANT. <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the prov~s~ons of l49-l-22, Colorado Revised <br />Statutes 1963, as amended, the Colorado Water Conservation Board is <br />authorized to construct certain water projects for the benefit of the <br />people of the State of Colorado; and <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the communities of Louisville, Lafayette, Erie and <br />Superior through the Coal Creek Water and Sanitation Association have <br />made application to the Board for the construction of a water project <br />for the purpose of supplying municipal and industrial water to the <br />inhabitants of the areas served by the applicants; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CONSULTANT is a professional engineering firm within <br />the State of Colorado, ano has previously done considerable water- <br />related work in the Coal Creek basin; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows: <br /> <br />1. The CONSULTANT agrees to prepare a formulation report directed <br />to the problem of supplying additional municipal and industrial <br />water to the area served by the Coal Creek Water and Sanitation <br />Association, in accordance with a proposal for project formula- <br />tion report prepared by the CONSULTANT and approved by the <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board, dated April, 1974, which <br />proposal is attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part of <br />this contract. <br /> <br />2. Thirty (30) copies of the report called for in this contract <br />shall be furnished to the STATE not later than July 31, 1974, <br />unless such time is extended by mutual agreement of the parties. <br />hereto. <br /> <br />. <br />
