The following penneabilities were used in
the analysis.

...... . They are in general
agreement with material properties for embankment dams as described in the Bureau of
Reclamation, Design Standards, Embankment Dams, No 13, Chapter 8, dated 1987.

The following five cases were analyzed.

Casel: Zoned embankment, Reservoir Water El. 10,265 feet, upper 40 feet
(elevation 10,250 to 10,290 feet) are fractured rock extending to the upstream face ofthe
embankment, foundation rocks are fractured, and penneability of the downstream shell
material lower than that of the fractured rock.

Case 2: Zoned embankment, Reservoir Water El. 10,270 feet, upper 40 feet (elevation
10,250 to 10,290 feet) are fractured rock extending to the upstream face of the
embankment, foundation rocks fractured and penneability of the downstream shell
material lower than that of the fractured rock.

Case 3: Zoned embankment, Reservoir Water El. 10,280 feet, upper 40 feet (elevation
10,250 to 10,290 feet) are fractured rock extending to the upstream face of the
embankment, foundation rocks fractured and penneability of the downstream shell
material lower than that of the fractured rock.

Continental Dam

Page 15
