<br />, ' <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Introduction <br />HB-ll02, 1983 Session, authorized the <br />(hereafter referred to as the State) to <br />investigations. . . on dam sites located <br />from the Highland Ditch Headgate upstream <br />Fork and South Fork of the White River." <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />conduct a study for "geotechnical <br />at Powell Park, Lake Avery, and <br />to the confluence of the North <br />(See Section 3 of the bill.) <br /> <br />Study Objective <br />The objective of the study is to conduct feasibility level geotechnical <br />evaluations and evaluate the engineering feasibility and cost of <br />constructing dams at the selected sites. The study sites will be the <br />preselected Lake Avery and Powell Park sites plus two sites within the <br />restrictive boundaries described in HB 1102. The exact locations of the <br />dams will be determined after the necessary examination of regional geology <br />and after geotechnical evaluations of the local areas have been completed. <br /> <br />Study Area <br />The study area shall include the potential dam and reservoir areas for Lake <br />Avery expansion, Powell Park Dam, and the mainstem of the White River <br />between the Highland Ditch Headgate and the confluence of the North and <br />South Forks. <br /> <br />Conduct of the Study <br />The study shall be performed under the general guidance and direction of the <br />State. The Contractor shall be responsible for completing all work tasks <br />and for producing the written products, including maps, drill logs, test <br />results, and core as set forth hereinafter. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B <br /> <br />A-l <br />
