<br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CHAPl'ER II <br /> <br />Power Benefits <br /> <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br />The average annual power benefits have been estimated at $902,000 <br />as previously discussed. <br /> <br />Recreational Benefits <br /> <br />Recreational benefits have been tentatively estimated by the National <br />Park Seryice at $380,000 annually, including $336,000 for Juniper Reser- <br />voir and $44,000 for Artesia Reservoir. <br /> <br />Fish and Wildlife Benefits <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Sport Fish- <br />eries and Wildlife has not yet <br />evaluated the ?roject with <br />respect to its effects on fish <br />and wildlife values except to <br />advise that the project would <br />provide opportunities for sig- <br />nificant enhancement of values <br />at project reservoirs and on <br />Yampa River below Juniper Dam. <br />The benefits were roughly esti- <br />mated by the Bureau of Reclama- <br />tion by comparison with feas- <br />ibility estimates made for <br />other reservoirs and streams at <br />$84,000 annually.
