A significant portion of the crest length
between about Station 8+00 and Station 25+00 consists of a low dike with a height of
about 5 to 10 feel.

5.2.2.2 Crest

On the crest, there were no indication of settlements, misalignments, or cracking, There
were a few small rodent holes which did not appear to affect the integrity of the
structure,

5.2,2.3 Upstream Face

No evidences of longitudinal or transverse cracking were observed, No depressions,
bulges, or settlements were noted. There were some wave-cut benches which were
about a foot wide on the right side of the main embankment to the right of the area
covered with riprap, These benches should not affect the overall integrity of the
structure, The riprap appeared to be adequate and no evidences of stone deterioration

5-3
