Assessments are collected on different land classifications, The <br />Board of OMID has set the following assessments for 1996: <br /> <br />a. Fruitland: $42,60 per irrigated acre, <br />b. Good cropland: $36,21 per irrigated acre, <br />c, Fair cropland: $25.56 per irrigated acre. <br />d. Poor cropland: $25.56 per irrigated acre. <br />e. Small tracts (1-5 acres), subdivisions, commercial: $53.25 per <br />acre or per lot. <br /> <br />Total revenues from this source were $529,329 in 1995 and $526,853 in 1994 <br />(see Appendix D). <br /> <br />Public Service Company Payments, The other source of revenue is collected <br />from Public Service Company for a millage on power generation at the <br />Palisade Hydro Plant that is adjacent to the OMID pump station, The power <br />plant is owned by the USA and operated under contract by Public Service <br />Company. OMID is obligated by contract to deliver 310-400 cfs of water <br />that belongs to the USA to the Palisade Hydro. During the non-irrigation <br />season, 800 cfs is delivered to the Palisade Hydro Plant. Some of the funds <br />received form the power plant are used for O&M of the power canal and <br />other OMID facilities, <br /> <br />Total revenues from Public Service were $85,778 in 1995 and $114,127 in <br />1994 (see Appendix D), <br /> <br />4, <br /> <br />Expenditures and Annual Expenditure Summary, <br /> <br />OMID expenditures consist of operational and maintenance expenses and debt <br />service (see Appendix D). <br /> <br />Total expenditures for 1995 were $632,994, of which $525,794 were <br />operational and maintenance expenses, and $107,200 were debt service. Total <br />expenditures for 1994 were $645,428, of which $538,228 were operational and <br />maintenance expenses, and $107,200 were debt service. <br /> <br />II-12 <br />
