Dear Ms. Bain:

Attached is a list of state Threatened and Endangered Species for Colorado. Also
at-..ached is a list of Federai T & E species and Species ofSpeciat Concern that could
occur in the Sh."Ylocket Creek area in Ouray County, Colorado. This list was taken from a
recent USFS publication concerning the Uncompahgre National Forest I have crossed
out those species that would not be expected to occur in the Skyrocket Creek area and
have indicated those species that would be very unlikely to occur in the area.

Aside from T & E and SSC species, the primary wildlife concern in the Skyrocket Creek
area would be potential impacts on Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. The Amphitheatre
just south of Skyrocket Creek is an important lambing area for bighorn sheep. In
addition, several bighorn sheep \\inter on the south-facing ridges between Cutler Creek
and Bear Creek.
