Also <br />at-..ached is a list of Federai T & E species and Species ofSpeciat Concern that could <br />occur in the Sh."Ylocket Creek area in Ouray County, Colorado. This list was taken from a <br />recent USFS publication concerning the Uncompahgre National Forest I have crossed <br />out those species that would not be expected to occur in the Skyrocket Creek area and <br />have indicated those species that would be very unlikely to occur in the area. <br /> <br />Aside from T & E and SSC species, the primary wildlife concern in the Skyrocket Creek <br />area would be potential impacts on Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. The Amphitheatre <br />just south of Skyrocket Creek is an important lambing area for bighorn sheep.
