<br />, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-L <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING A FEASIBILITY REPORT CONTRACT <br />DATED OCTOBER 15, 1986 BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES <br />(COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD) AND DURANGO WEST METROPOLITAN DISTRICT <br />#2; AUTHORIZING AND ACCEPTING THE OBLIGATIONS CREATED THEREBY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Durango West Metropolitan District #2 needs to develop <br />additional water sources and supplies for the benefit of its residents; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the District has reviewed previous <br />studies concerning the development of water and has found that they <br />are not sufficient to determine appropriate action; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Harris Water Engineering has consented to prepare a feasibility <br />study to investigate water supply alternatives for Durango West Metropolitan <br />District #2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Natural Resources (Colorado <br />Water Conservation Board) has agreed to fund a portion of the study; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that performing <br />such study and accepting the funding from the Department of Natural <br />Resources are in the best .interest of the District and its residents. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Feasibility Study Approved. The Board of Directors hereby <br />authorizes Harris Water Engineering to proceed with the feasibility <br />study, as outlined in the scope of services for a feasibility study <br />to investigate water supply alternatives for Durango West Metropolitan <br />District #2, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. Feasibility Report Contract Approved. The Board of Directors <br />hereby authorizes and approves the feasibility report contract dated <br />October 15, 1986 between the Colorado Department of Natural Resources <br />(Colorado Water Conservation Board) and Durango West Metropolitan District <br />#2, wherein the Department of Natural Resources agrees to pay the sum <br />of $11,500.00 to the District to offset a portion of the costs of the <br />feasibility study to be done by Harris Water Engineering. The District <br />expressly recognizes and accepts the provisions in said contract concerning <br />repayment of the sum of $14,892.50 to the Department of Natural Resources <br />on the terms and conditions set forth therein. <br />
