Watering of agriculture areas will be limited

to lawns and small gardens with the most extensive sprinkling being on the

Town Park.
Industrial activity is limited in the area. There are no large users

of municipal water. However, it is felt that once an adequate water system

is installed, some light industries may be attracted to ~he community. This

is "guess work" and any analysis as to projected use would be reflective of

this. In viewing the adjudicated water rights of 7.178 cubic feet per second

(cfs) and a probable yield of not less than 1.75 cfs (7-14-77), it can be

noted that there is latitude for some minor industry.

The accompanying Exhibits XI, a. and b., show the soil and geological

formations of Ridgway and the surrounding area. While no particular emphasis is

given to agriculture areas on these Exhibits, they are a valuable asset for

consideration of potential construction problems.

8
