� MEMORANDUM TO: Mike Serlet FROM: Bill Green DATE: June 8, 2001 � SUBJECT: Douglas County Water Resources Authority Contract My suggestions for some items to be included in the contract with the Douglas County Water Resources Authority Contract for the South Metro Water Supply Study as authorized in HB 00- 1419: Payment Upon submittal of copies of study consultant invoices and a summary of other study costs that have been paid and totaling at least $90,000, the CWCB will pay a total of $90,000 under this contract to the Douglas County Water Resources Authority. Upon submittal of the final study report(s), as approved and accepted by the Douglas County Water Resources Authority, and copies of all remaining study consultant invoices along with a summary of other expenditures which have been paid as of the date of substantial study completion, the CWCB will pay the remaining $10,000 under this contract to the Douglas County Water Resources Authority following CWCB staff review and acceptance of the �nal report(s). Study Submittals During the course of the South Metro Water Supply Study, the Douglas County Water Resources Authority will submit the following items for review and comment by the CWCB staff: 1. Copies of draft and final study work products, 2. Study schedules and progress reports, 3. Any revisions to the South Metro Water Supply Study Scope of Work, 4. Notices of study meetings, and 5. Copies of all consultant invoices and suinmaries of other expenditures paid by the date of substantial study completion and not submitted for the first payment under this contract. Coordination with the CWCB Staff The Douglas County Water Resources Authority will ensure that the South Metro Water Supply Study Board and Manager maintain ongoing coordination and communication with the CWCB staff and the South Platte Decision Support System program during the course of the study.
