� <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mike Serlet <br />FROM: Bill Green <br />DATE: June 8, 2001 <br />� <br />SUBJECT: Douglas County Water Resources Authority Contract <br />My suggestions for some items to be included in the contract with the Douglas County Water <br />Resources Authority Contract for the South Metro Water Supply Study as authorized in HB 00- <br />1419: <br />Payment <br />Upon submittal of copies of study consultant invoices and a summary of other study costs that <br />have been paid and totaling at least $90,000, the CWCB will pay a total of $90,000 under this <br />contract to the Douglas County Water Resources Authority. <br />Upon submittal of the final study report(s), as approved and accepted by the Douglas County <br />Water Resources Authority, and copies of all remaining study consultant invoices along with a <br />summary of other expenditures which have been paid as of the date of substantial study <br />completion, the CWCB will pay the remaining $10,000 under this contract to the Douglas County <br />Water Resources Authority following CWCB staff review and acceptance of the �nal report(s). <br />Study Submittals <br />During the course of the South Metro Water Supply Study, the Douglas County Water Resources <br />Authority will submit the following items for review and comment by the CWCB staff: <br />1. Copies of draft and final study work products, <br />2. Study schedules and progress reports, <br />3. Any revisions to the South Metro Water Supply Study Scope of Work, <br />4. Notices of study meetings, and <br />5. Copies of all consultant invoices and suinmaries of other expenditures paid by the date of <br />substantial study completion and not submitted for the first payment under this contract. <br />Coordination with the CWCB Staff <br />The Douglas County Water Resources Authority will ensure that the South Metro Water Supply <br />Study Board and Manager maintain ongoing coordination and communication with the CWCB <br />staff and the South Platte Decision Support System program during the course of the study. <br />Cc: Randy Seaholm <br />Jan Illian <br />Linda Bassi, AGO <br />
