<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Water Rights <br /> <br />The Decker Lateral is a carrier ditch for water delivered by Owl <br />Creek Supply and Irrigation, which itself operates as a carrier <br />ditch. Water is supplied to Owl Creek from several sources <br />(Larimer-Weld, Windsor Canal, Norther Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District, etc.). The actual water rights are the shares owned in <br />the several primary water supply companies or districts, by the <br />individual Decker Lateral shareholders. Ownership of a share in <br />the Decker Lateral represents a right to transport 0.25 cfs of <br />water which the shareholder owns in a separate primary source. <br />There are no separate water wights or State Engineer Diversion <br />Records for the DLC. <br /> <br />There are a total of 230 shares ("carry rights") in the DLC, of <br />which 84 shares are associated with the lower end of the ditch. <br />84 shares allows a total run of 21 cfs (1 share equals 0.25 cfs.) <br />Shares are apportioned to the land in a ratio of one share per 20 <br />acres. <br /> <br />Cost Estimate <br /> <br />The estimated total project cost is $143,300. <br />and engineering design will be provided by the <br />Conservation Service (NRCS). <br /> <br />Project planning <br />Natural Resources <br /> <br />Item <br /> <br />Estimated Cost <br /> <br />1.
