Estimated Costs

1. Costs of Construction

The chapter will include:

a. Derivation of unit construction costs and pertinent
factors affecting estimated construction costs.

b. A tabulation showing the quantities, unit cost,
and' total cost of each type of work or material
for ear.h major'structure and each class of minor
structures. '

c. A summary of estimated project costs.

d, The allowance for contingencies that was included
in the cost estimate.

e. An allowance for future cost escalations that are
expected to occur between the date of the estimate
and the award of the construction contract. This
allowance will be specifically identified in the
cost summary as "Projected Price Increase."

f. The total project cost including an estimate of
the amount of interest during construction.

g. An estimate of other project costs will be con-
sidered, such as engineering, administration,
and the Owner's contribution.

2. Fund Requirement Schedule

The annual fund requirements by fiscal years for
each of the years of the construction period.

3, Operation, Maintenance and Replacement Costs

A tabulation of estimated future annual operation,
maintenance and replacement costs: for both "with project"
and "without project" conditions and a description of
their derivation, The tabulation will be made in bud-
get form, showing number or quantity and costs for per-
sonnel, material, supplies, equipment, and administration.
