Two shallow wells on the west bank of Dolores River. <br /> <br />Capacity of 50 to 120 gallons per minute each. <br /> <br />Treatment. Gas chlorinated as water is pumped from the wells <br /> <br />into the 30,000-gallon holding reservoir. <br /> <br />Pump Station. High pressure pump station constructed in 1970. <br /> <br />Three lOa-gallon per minute positive displacement pumps. One <br /> <br />25-gallon per minute positive displacement pump. <br /> <br />Transmission. Eight-inch ductile iron, cast iron, and asbestos <br /> <br />cement line constructed in 1970 to top of Dolores River rim <br /> <br />then flows through 6-inch steel line to northeast corner <br /> <br />of Town. This 6-inch line was constructed in 1951. <br /> <br />Storage. Two steel storage reservoirs located at the northeast <br /> <br />corner of Town, with a combined capacity of 325,000 gallons. <br /> <br />Distribution. The distribution system is made up of 6-inch, <br />4-inch, and 2-inch lines. <br /> <br />III - 4 <br />
