All of the above water rights for the Montezuma Water Company

have had the point of diversion transferred to the Town of Dolores

Diversion Headgate from the Dolores River.

The Town of Dolores shares first priority with Cortez on the

Dolores River. This water right is for domestic and irrigation use up

to one cubic foot per second. The date of appropriation was May 31,

1879 and the date of adjudication Was December 18, 1933.

The water rights for Dove Creek, Montezuma Water Company,

and Dolores from the Dolores River. are shown in Table 1.
