The Town of Dove

Creek would have to construct a small raw water reservoir with a

treatment plant. In lieu of the additional water rights a larger raw

water reservoir could be constructed, thereby permitting water to be

stored for use when the wells do not yield sufficient water.

Also included as part of Alternate Number Two are waterlines

and facilities necessary to serve the 55 taps between Dove Creek and

Cahone, which will also provide an interconnection between Dove Creek

and the Montezuma Water Company.

Both alternates are located in Montezuma and Dolores Counties,

in the Dolores and San Juan River basins, and in the Dolores Water

Conservancy District.

I - 12
