<br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />ASSESSED VAlUATlON <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The 1974 assessed valuation of the private property within the District <br />was $389,930, with an increase in 1975 to $704,840, primarily due to <br />revaluation rather than new construction, Motels and lodges with or <br />without restaurants and bars represent the majority of the assessed <br />valuation in the present Winter Park community, Figure 1 I 1-2 shows the <br />projected increase in assessed valuation upon development of the City <br />land, Arlberg Club property, and other private property within the <br />District. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The majority of the land and improvements within the District are owned <br />by tax-exempt entities; however, it is anticipated that the improvements <br />constructed on the City land will be taxable. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The present sewerage facil ities are for the most part financed by <br /> <br /> <br />service charges, although the District did recently impose a mil levy of <br /> <br /> <br />15 mils to provide some revenue from properties enhanced by sewer availa- <br /> <br /> <br />bility but which are not presently otherwise contributing to the cost of <br /> <br /> <br />operating the system. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />111-5 <br /> <br />I <br />
