I I I I I I I I I II I I I I I I I I THE NORTH POUDRE IRRIGATION COMPANY 3729 CLEVELAND AVENUE WELLINGTON, COLORADO 80549 March 10, 1999 RECEIVED MAR 1 1 1999 Mr. Bill Green, P.E, Colorado Water Conservation Board 721 State Centennial Building \3 \3 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Colorado Water Conservation Board RE: Feasibility Study for North Poudre Irrigation Company Dear Mr. Green: The North Poudre Irrigation Company is herewith transmitting the revised feasibility study for the rehabilitation of two irrigation storage reservoirs, the enlargement of a spillway. and the repair of an outlet ditch to a storage reservoir, The feasibility study was done as a part of the North Poudre Irrigation Company's application to the Colorado Water Conservation Board to obtain financing for the design and construction costs for the projects, Application was initially made in December of 1997 and initial approval for funding in the amount of $500.0000 was given. pending submittal of this feasibility study, The original loan application may be found in the appendix of this study. This feasibility study reflects changes in the scope of work from the original application, The attached report has been prepared in accordance with the Colorado Water Conservation Board requirements governing the content and format of feasibility reports, All required documents have been included in the report, With the submittal of this report, the North Poudre Irrigation Company formally requests funding from the Colorado Water Conservation Board Construction Fund to partially finance the proposed projects, For the Alternatives chosen by the Company, we are estimating a total project cost of approximately $2,661,580. not including interest. Funding these projects will raise the level of assessments for the Company approximately $ \3.30 per share of stock which is similar to increases that the Company has absorbed in past years for other rehabilitation projects, We request your further consideration and approval of this funding for the project.
