<br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The results of the analysis with the maxil'lum hourly demand imposed <br />on th(~ system did not create any serious servi,:e pres,ure problems. <br />Howev,'r, when a file flow demand of 500 gpm (minimum recommended for a <br />Town (If the size of Nunn) was imposed at Roosevelt and 4th Street and <br />Cleveland and 2nd Street plus a maximum daily demand, about one half of <br />the town experienced service pressure of 35 psi or less with a minimum pressure <br />of 13.5 psi occurring at the hydrant. <br />To alleviate the fire flow demand problem, additional pipelines are <br />recommended to crelte loops and close dead ends. Figure IV-3 in the <br />Aroendix and Table IV-2 present the recommended improvements in order of <br />priority of construction. The result of the improvements is an overall <br />increase in system pressure to a minimum of 47 psi for a fire flow demand <br />of 500 gpm checked at several critical locations in the Town. <br /> <br />26 <br />
