One 50,000 gallon elevated storage tank 130~ feet high. <br />The tank was constructed in the 1920's and is currently in <br />good condition. <br />2. Water Source Facilities: <br />a. Two shallow wells with pumps, chlorinators, well houses, and <br />miscellaneous piping. The pumps have been in service for quite <br />some time, and the chlorinators were installed in 1975. <br />b. One Deep Well, 765 feet. including a submersible pump, pump <br />house, meter, and miscellaneous piping, constructed in 1974. <br />3. Distribution Piping and Appurtenances: <br />a. Approximately 150 feet, 6" cast iron pipe. <br />b. 8140 feet, 4" cast iron pipe. <br />c. 9830 feet, 2" cast iron pipe. <br />d. 1500 feet, 1~" cast iron pipe. <br />e. 12 each - 4", 2 nozzle fire hydrants <br />f. 4 each - 4" valves and 5 each - 2" valves, plus <br />miscellaneous crosses, tees, etc. <br />4. Various maintenance equipment plus part time use of a pickup truck. <br />The deep well was constructed in 1974 as the most recent addition to <br />the water system. One of the shallow wells was constructed in 1921, and the <br />other shallow well was constructed in 1949. A major portion of the water <br />distribution system was constructed in the early 1920's with some recent <br />installation of galvanized steel pipe. <br /> <br />9 <br />
