Note that the graph for site A-3 reflects the actual completion of the

improvements at that wellsite. Also note, the Schedules for A-I and A-2 have been

designed so that only one of those two wells is out of operation during the
construction period.

F.

Water Rights

Water rights controlled by the District are summarized in Table 3. The Districts

Rights to the underlying ground water are by virtue of a lease agreement with Castle

Pines Land Company. That agreement, dated October 3, 1984, provides the District

exclusive rights to extract, use and reuse the water rights in the underlying bedrock

aquifers. As indicated, the District has decreed rights to a total of 4576 afjyr of

ground water contained in five separate aquifers underlying the District property.

The three wells, which are the subject of this Feasibility Study, are completed into

the Arapahoe aquifer. The decree for that aquifer (84CW061) provides for the

withdrawal of up to 1724 afjyr from that aquifer from any combination of up to 6

wells drilled into that aquifer. Currently there are three Arapahoe aquifer wells

within the District. Additional wells would be drilled as demand increases beyond

18

Jehn Water Consultants, Inc.
