The part of the vater that is used l"lest of Iron Creek is <br />released into the creek above Gould Reservoir and flows thro~1 the res- <br />ervoir to the Savage-Tracy ditch and other smaller ditches. The D,yer Fork <br />ditch, O,lI1ed by an association of irrigators, diverts water to Iron Creek <br />lands from Dyer Forl,. Dyer Fork ilitch, being higher in elevation than ' <br />Cattlemens ditch, serves Upper Iron Creek lands and passes east of Gould <br />Reservoir to also serve Lover Iron Creel, landS. <br /> <br />Another major diversion from Crystal Creek is made by the Fruitland <br />ditch of the Fruitland Irrigation Company. This ditch irrigates small <br />areas of Upper Iron Creek and Upper Fruitland Mesa lands and supplies <br />;Tater to Gould Reservoir and the Gould Canal. The Gould Canal, also <br />owned by the Fruitland Irrigation Company, distributes reservoir vater <br />to irriGate lands on Lo.ler Fruitland Mesa and in Red Canyon. The Crystal <br />Valley ditch diverting from Crystal Creek serves valley lands adjacent <br />to that creek.
